It was cold this day...in the low 50's, but the kids were playing in the drinking fountain anyway...some in shorts.  Kids are the same wherever you go.     (p.s.  the date is wrong)

Thirsty ?  These machines are all over...on residential streets too.  The ones that sell beer have timers on them, and shut down automatically.  You can get cold drinks and hot drinks from the same machine, and they all take change as well as 1000 yen (about $10) notes!
