1851 a Black smith, and a Wheelwright, a Butcher at Coolham  and at Dragons Green and also a Bricklayer at Dragons Green
1862 a Corn Dealer, Cattle Dealer and Dressmaker,  Saddler and Harness Maker
Shops between 1692 and 1745 Sold Drapery, Groceries,  tobacco, Candles and ironmongery.
In 1895 The Selsey Arms in Coolham had a tea garden.
1920/1930's There was a Cycle Agents ,Garage and Car Hire  place on the Horsham to Worthing Road.
Shipley's general store closed in 1979 becoming a private  house.
