Saturday July 8th

and we headed off to Slough where we lived immediately before coming to OZ,
stopping on the way to visit the first place we really remember living in at
47 Holywell Way  Stanwell  Middlesex

Tina has pics of us standing outside the house here
and also the news we heard about the houses from a lady who lives almost opposite our old home.....

I couldn't get over how small what I'd remembered as a huge field opposite the house looked to me now..
or how narrow the road is......but I was only about 5 years old when we moved from there...
And I've got used to OZ where roads and paddocks are usually so much bigger -
as of course is the country itself....

Windsor and it's famous Castle are on the way from Stanwell to Slough, so that was next on our list of 'Places to visit'

Tina's covered the Castle fairly comprehensively so here's a few views around Windsor itself.

Had to just put in some of the Castle itself!!!!!!
