From Wimbledon we got the train back to Leatherhead and our Travelodge, had a
quick shower and change
and then back on the train to Waterloo. From there we went to the OXO
Tower Restaurant to meet Bill's friend
Doug and his wife Diane for dinner..
Here's some of my pics of London in
the evening which show a slightly different perspective to those
Tina has on several pages starting after her Wimbledon ones here...
The sky was looking somewhat threatening while we were eating -
the first couple of pics were taken from the balcony of the OXO Tower during our
meal -
but the rain stayed away and it was a very pleasant summer evening.
The company was great, the meal was delicious & London's South Bank was
glorious:-}
