Colors all have different affects on people. People interact with there environment, and colors are a part of their space. If someone is trying to meditate in a bright red room, they will find it difficult to do so, as red is an energizing color.
Different colors have different effects on people, and by utilizing the right color, one can acheive meditation easier. It is easier to tap into psychic powers when one is in a calm state of mind. Certain colors can help to induce this state of calmness.
Since everyone is different, colors will affect people differently. The following suggestions are only a guide, and if you don't like a color, then you need not have it around much. |

The color blue is a very calming color, and by looking at a blue mandala (See my meditation page for details) or blue object, one can increase their psychic sensitivity. |

The color green is also a nice color to focus on. It is calming, but still very much alive. This is a good color to have around if blue isn't your color. |

Stones and gems can also be utilized to enhance psychic powers. According to the energy=matter theory, everything that is in existence has a force field around itself, an aura. Stones, being matter, have energy, and an aura. Different stones give off different energy, so if one was to use the right stone, they could tap into psychic powers easier.
To use a stone, one simply has to hold it, and focus on it. It can even help just having the stone near you. |

The color is also said to be a very spiritual color, and becuase of this, could be of use if one is trying to connect will psychic powers, which can be used to reach higher knowledge. |

Lapis has been held in high regard for centuries in Egypt. It was said to be the gift of the gods. The stone is said to help reach ESP, and enhance wisdom.(This is my personal favorite psychic stone. I always keep it out on my desk during those difficult exams, as it enhances ESP as well as setting a calming atmosphere.) |

Quartz is a good energizing stone(which is a good thing in the way that using psychic muscles, like physical muscles, drains energy). If one holds it during meditation, it will aid you in whatever it is that you are trying to focus on. |
