Meditation: what it is, how to do it.
    Meditation is simply quieting the mind.  Usually, someone will focus on one thing, like the breath, to calm the mind.
     Meditation is very effective in increasing intuition, as by quieting the mind the subtle messages of esp can be heard more clearly.
    One form of meditation involves the use of mandalas.  Mandalas are things that you focus on, and each mandala has a specific effect.  To the left are some mandalas, as examples.  You can search to find the ones that really attract and hold your attention.
There are many other forms of meditation:
~breath meditation:  to do this you simply focus soley on your breath. 
~You could focus on something like a candle flame.
~You could visualize imagry, such as swimming in a lake.
~One method that is quite interesting is to visualize someone that looks just like you, thinking of them as your intuitive self.  Then, ask this person questions that you want answers to, and don't try to influence what arrises.
~Another powerful method is to meditate with psychic stones, stones that increase psychic powers and calm the mind.  (lapis lazuli, moonstone, opal, etc.)
~You could close your eyes and let things float into your mind.  Once you get used to this you might be able to direct the flow of information by focusing on specific questions.
