This page is a chronicle of my short trek to Nepal. I hope you enjoy the photos. Follow the paw prints at the bottom of each page to retrace my footsteps.
The camera didn't truly capture the striking colours and forms of the Himalayan mountains, rivers and villages... the best pictures are in my mind. Our itinerary was changed due to the closure of Chitwan National Park for some time. We ventured down there after trekking the Everest trail and it was an amazing place. Much hotter but flat walking, which was a relief after the trek.
It's difficult to describe what it feels like to be very fit (as I think I am), but not to be able to suck in enough oxygen for the muscles to function properly. It was a strange experience... but I would do it all again in a nanosecond.
Namaste!
