| Service Projects 2000-2001 -"Adopted" families in need at both Thanksgiving and during the winter holiday season -Collected 25 pairs of used eyeglasses to be recycled -Sold Entertainment Books to benefit Mother-to-Mother Fund (a fund operated by the International MOMS Club to provide assistance to members in need) -Donated and collected items to create Spring Baskets for 2 area foster children -Held benefit yard sale and raised $1000 for Dream Come True (a non-profit organization committed to granting wishes and fulfilling dreams for seriously, chronically, and terminally ill children in the greater Lehigh Valley) Service Projects 2001-2002 -Sold Entertainment Books to benefit Mother-to-Mother Fund -Second Annual Benefit Yard Sale in June (raised $1001 for Dream Come True) -Collected food for Second Harvest Food Bank -Collected unopened toys for Marine Corps Toys-for-Tots Program -Solicited donations from area businesses to fill "Holiday Hope Chests" for children in need. The chests were delivered to the Lehigh Valley Volunteer Center for distribution to various local agencies. Service Projects 2002-2003 -Sold Entertainment Books to benefit Mother-to-Mother Fund -Third Annual Benefit Yard Sale raised $1002 for Head Start of the Lehigh Valley -Collected 140 pounds of food for Second Harvest Food Bank -For second year, made "Holiday Hope Chests" for foster children (completed 45 boxes) -Decorated Baby Bottles for fund drive for local crisis pregnancy center -Collect Box Tops for Education for local schools. Service Projects 2003-2004 -Baked cookies and other baked goods for our local police officers and firemen on 9/11 -For third yar, made "Holiday Hope Chests" for foster children -Book sale to benefit two local charities |
