Playgroups are a great way to get to know other MOMS and a perfect opportunity to have your kids practice their socialization skills. At this point all of our playgroups are open playgroups and not age-based. The playgroup coordinator arranges playgroups at members' homes throughout the month. The days and times vary according to the host mom's preferences. The host moms choose to host a specific number of moms (usually 5)and their kids, and provide a snack. Members are free to sign up to attend whichever playgroup(s) fit their schedules for the month. When the set number of moms has been reached there is a waiting list for others who wish to sign up and the coordinator notifies those on the wait list if an opening becomes available.
MOMS Night Out is a monthly activity held during evening hours. The activity changes from month to month to meet a variety of interests. Some examples of MNO activities include:
-Miniature golf
-Appetizer night at member's home
-Bowling
-Movies
-Game night
-Christmas Cookie exchange
This activity group requires seperate annual dues of $5.00 to cover operational costs of the co-op. Members of the co-op exchange points for babysitting of one another's children. The babysitting co-op coordinator oversees the co-op and a rotating co-op secretary keeps track of the points for all co-op members.
(Husbands Out Of Town Or Working Late Sometimes)
Consists of those MOMS whose husbands are occasionally or regularly unavailable in the evening hours. The group meets for dinners, potlucks, park evenings, etc. as needed.
