2.25.01- hi. it has been 21 days and this is whats up: all star records records has closed down. 'tis a shame that such good stuff can't last. the word i heard was that they may start a mailorder or something so keep supporting good people. for a short time open, it provided some nice memories of lighting chris's hands on fire and whatnot and it will certainly be missed. anyway, as for the mitch: we have finished the recording process and there is a brand new song for you at mp3.com so check it out. special thanks to jon rafalski of chain/link disaster who went out of his way to save our lives friday night when we had a bit of an automotive epidemic. thanks to his enormous generosity and selflessness we slept in our own town that night. so go to his website and tell him how cool he is. thats all. see you later.

2.4.01- so two whole months without a mitchell news update and wouldnt you know it we are boring. actually heres something: all star records in tarpon springs, florida. this is awesome, we have a record store now in our hometown that puts on shows and everything. river city high kicked off their grand opening and we have played there twice since. its very cool to have a venue five minutes away from your house. plus its run by awesome kids and gulf high graduates and has a wonderful selection of compact discs, records, tshirts, and other fantabulous faptraptions. ensuite, we have recorded a new song with chris dougherty that will rock your socks off. it should be up on the mp3.com in the next two weeks after all the mixing and whatnot is complete. so look out, sucka. future plans for the mitch: this summer we will be releasing a new split cd with a bunch of songs and other good bands on big bad distant rise records. trust me, it will be better than the first one. so save up your pennies this springs and get ready to rock and roll. i will quit being dumb. the end.
