Whilst Cordelia goes out dating a wealthy businessman, Doyle gets a vision of vampires attacking a man. Angel and Doyle investigate, and save the guy's life. However, one vampire later returns for revenge. When the vampire tracks Doyle and Angel down, he comes across Cordelia and her date, returning home early after Cordelia was bored to tears by constant "stock chat". The date runs for it, but Doyle steps in, stakes the vampire, and saves Cordelia.

This heroic act is enough to change things between Cordelia and Doyle, but at this moment, Doyle's wife Harriet arrives, with her husband to be, Richard. She asks for a divorce. Despide discovering Richard is an Animovic demon, Doyle agrees, and is invited to a Bachelor Party, which he goes to, accompanied by Angel.

Things are going fine until Angel overhears an odd chant in ancient Animovic, he reports this to Harriet by phone, but is then attacked by at least four of the partying demons. With Angel out of the way, Richard initiates an ancient custom where the new husband eats the previous husbands brains.

Luckily Angel comes round in time to stop the proceedings, but a large fight is started. With the battle going nowhere, Harriet arrives with Cordelia to stop the fight and start asking questions. Angel and Doyle are fine, but what about the future marraige to Richard? It isn`t going to happen after this deceit.

Later, as Doyle contemplates all that has happened, Cordelia starts to cheer him up, but moments later, a vision hits Doyle, of Buffy.
