Angel goes baby crazy with Connor around, and is determined to make the boy's future as bright as possible. He intends to create a fund to educate and feed his son as well as he can. To do this, he increases the advertising at the agency, with a new website designed by Fred and 6000 posters distributed across the city. Very soon, the hotel is packed with people and demons searching for help, and the phone lines are ringing non-stop. The episode focuses on three cases: Angel goes after a vampire nest, whilst Wesley and Gunn deal with an undead stalker, and Fred goes with Lorn to solve a puzzle on a boat.

Angel goes to an office in a large plant where he is told he will be paid $10,000 to take out a vampires nest. He does so, and returns for the money to find he had been played by somebody who didn't even own the office. He discovers though that the vampires hid treasure as trophies from their victims. He returns and finds the guy from earlier.

The man explains that it was his friend who was killed by these vampires, and that the *seven* of them needed to be killed. Angel says he only got three though, and then they are surrounded. At first Angel doesn't fight as he isn't being paid, but when the man goes all noble and says that Angel should go and leave him, Angel agrees to stay and help.

Meanwhile, Wesley and Gunn deal with a woman's boyfriend who is now a zombie. Just as they barricade themselves in though, the girl gives in and goes to talk to him. He is quite reasonable (odd for a zombie) and asks if she will take him back, despite poisoning and killing him. She says yes, and the couple are happy again. Fred though is off solving puzzles.

After displaying remarkable intelligence earlier on, a group of demons ask Fred to solve a puzzle. Lorn goes along to translate, and Fred soon finishes the puzzle. However, this is just a test to see if her head is worthy to be transplanted to their leader's shoulders. Fortunately Cordelia sees this in a vision, so Cordelia, and then Wesley, Gunn and later Angel are able to arrive and save Fred.
