    Angel
    Loyalty
Wesley continues to work on the prophecy, at first refusing to believe he has correctly translated the text. He stays up working, spending all his time at the office, but can't seem to find another possibility. He goes with Angel to the hospital for Connor's health checks, keeping an eye out for any sign of truth in the prophecy.

After a blood sample is taken from Connor, and Angel leaves the room, a woman with a baby comes in, switches the test tubes, and makes off with the blood.

A new client arrives, telling them she lost her son to vampires nesting at a pier nearby. Wesley sends Gunn and Fred to deal with it. Meanwhile, the demon from another dimension, Sahjhan, goes to Wolfram and Hart to meet with Lilah. There they discuss how to get at Angel. The blood from earlier was part of Lilah's plan, and Sahjhan knows how to use it.

Back at the pier, Gunn and Fred are led into a trap, a fight against three vampires. Gunn takes out one, and tells Fred to leave him, but she comes back to help him take out the other two. Although they won, it was all a test by Holtz's new friends Justine and co, trying to see how good Gunn was, and whether Fred would fight.

Wesley contacts a wizard, and tries to talk to somebody who knows more about the prophecy. He is instructed to go to a giant talking hamburger. Here he learns of the three signs, a quake, then fire, then blood. It is certain, he is told, that the father will devour the child.

A quake occurs, promping Wesley to visit Holtz, confronted with a great dilemma. Can he leave the baby with Angel when so many things are telling him it won't work? He leaves, for now, but when he returns, a fire takes place in Angel's room, started when a second quake hits, and knocks over the cooker. The signs all point to a nasty end.
