With the group now moving to the hotel, Angel is in need of financial advice, so calls in an old client, David Nabbit. Meanwhile, Gunn asks for Angel's help in order to go after a powerful demon, Deevak. Unfortunately, it sees as if Angel has other things on his mind, as we see several dream sequences with Darla seducing Angel. He is seriously short on sleep as a result.

The group meet an informant, but gain no information, and only end up fighting (with Angel clearly struggling from exhaustion). At this, Gunn leaves, and Angel goes back to sleep.

Cordelia receives a vision of Gunn in trouble, and decides to go and help him. Meanwhile, Wesley is out of contact, and Angel back under Darla's spell. Cordelia also manages to let Angel's car get stolen when she finds Gunn.

Gunn and Cordelia track Angel's car, and find it with Deevak, a trap. Gunn starts fighting, but only wins when Angel and Wesley arrive to help out. However, Cordelia says afterwards that her vision was that Gunn was a danger to himself, not about Deevak, and so he should calm down and think more.
