Its time to face the consequences as the mysterious being from "That Vision Thing" starts causing mayhem in Los Angeles. This demon, Billy, the son of a respected public figure, appears to be driving men insane. Whenever he is around, men start attacking the women closest to them, and this includes Lilah back at Wolfram and Hart.

As Angel and Cordelia follow a trail of disturbances, Wesley and Fred examine a sample of Billy's blood, but it turns out that the evil force is brought out of people when they make contact with Billy, including his blood. This sends Wesley into a psycho style chase as he pursues Fred around the empty hotel.

Later, Fred bumps into Gunn, who appears normal, but they realise that he has also touched the blood. Gunn gets Fred to knock him out, leaving her to face Wesley. She sets a trap, and knocks out Wesley.

Angel and Cordelia catch up with Billy. At this critical moment, Billy grabs Angel and gives him a massive burst of the evil energy, but Angel is able to resist, having ridden himself of hate many years ago. In the end though, it is a vengeful Lilah who shoots Billy and leaves.
