    Angel
    Belonging
The whole gang go to a have a posh meal out to celebrate Cordelia getting signed to do a suntan commercial. Whilst there, Angel mistakes a woman for a witch, but worse, Cordelia throws up all over the table. Later on, Wesley phones his parents to say happy birthday, but finds himself rejected again, despite becoming the group leader.

Cordelia goes to her commercial, and Angel tags along. Angel wants to beat up the director after what he says to Cordelia, but Cordy wants the job, so sits there and takes it. Wesley, Angel and Gunn go after the Haaklar demon from a Cordelia vision, meaning Gunn leaves his gang to deal with their vampire problem alone.

    Lorn

At Cariatos, the Host performs on stage when an inter-dimensional portal opens behind him, and a Drakan pops out, rampaging through the bar, and moving out onto the street. The Host goes to Angel for help, just as Cordelia returns from her commercial. Cordy admits to Angel that she hated being treated that way, but is still annoyed at the way Angel threatened the director. The Host arrives as Cordelia has a vision of a girl, in a library, holding a book, near a portal.

Angel, The Host, Cordelia and Wesley go to the library, and learn that Fred, an employee there disappeared when reading a particular book. Cordelia reads from it, and another portal opens, bringing out a demon, Landock, related to The Host (cousins). We now learn that The Host, prefers to be called Lorn. The crew, now aided by Landock, go after the demon.

Gunn is not with them though as he is attending to a funeral. One of his friends was lost when they attacked the vampires. He feels guilty for not being there, but they didn't wait for him, so all he can do is pick up the pieces. Meanwhile, Landock is injured and poisoned fighting the Drakan, and Angel is left to defeat it. The only way to cure their friend is to get him back to his world.

Cordelia realises that her vision of the book was the key to sending him back. They go to Cariatos and Landock says the correct words, opening the portal and sending him back to pylea... along with Cordelia.
