Having always fought hard for everything, Lilah has left her humanity behind, and has become a total lawyer, the dedicated employee of Wolfram and Hart. He conflict with Lindsey as the two of them make mistakes is painful, and in the end she loses. If it weren't for Lindsey leaving, she may have been killed. When Lindsey does leave, she takes over as head of special projects, and really starts to do damage. She does not agree with Wolfram and Hart's policy of keeping Angel alive, and is often willing to take chances at killing him. However, she does find herself attracted to him, as we see in several episodes.

Whilst she has a lot of power, and is always working hard to fight Angel, she never seems to be a major player, always making only a small or insignificant difference to Angel's path. Perhaps her latest technique will be her best, she is in bed, literally, with Wesley, the former employee at Angel Investigations who stole Angel's son.
