  • Invocation of Deity
    • Danu: Danu, Great Mother Goddess who birthed all things into creation, I invite you to join me this evening so that I may honor your presence. I ask that you help me to manifest the goal of removing from my life one who is not good for me emotionally. Welcome. So mote it be.
      • As Danu is welcomed, a deep blue candle is lit in Her honor.

    • Manannan: Manannan, powerful sea God and invincible warrior, I invite you to join me this evening so that I may honor your presence. I ask that you help me to erase from my memory a person who is not good for me emotionally. Welcome. So Mote It Be.
      • As Manannan is welcomed, a sea-green candle is lit in his honor.

    • Bile: Bile, wise consort of Danu, who is manifest in the Tree of Life, I invite you to join me this evening so that I may honor your presence. I ask that you grant me protection from the one who would keep me under his thumb. Keep me safe from his influence. Welcome. So Mote It Be.
      • As Bile is welcomed, a black candle is lit in His honor.

  • Statement of Purpose: I stand before you this night to banish a negative influence from my life. I no longer need this person in my life. I no longer desire the great pain and emotional bondage his presence has caused in the past. I will be free of him for now and always.

  • Magickal Working
    • A brown pillar candle is charged for emotional separation, using the chant, Of all emotional attachments, I am free. [persons name]s bad influence no longer has power over me!

    • Then, the brown candle is anointed with commercially prepared banishing oil and rolled in powdered dragons blood resin.

    • A grey pillar candle charged to grant invisibility with the chant, I am free to go where I choose, cloaked in invisibility. [Persons name] does not see me or think of me.

    • Then the grey candle is anointed with heliotrope oil and rolled in powdered mistletoe.

    • Both candles are lit and allowed to burn out completely.

  • As the candles burn, take a few moments to meditate on the working.

  • Offering to the Gods:
    • Lift a glass of red wine to the Heavens, saying, Gracious Goddess and Gods, I humbly offer you my thanks with this offering of wine. May the creatures of the wild partake of it with pleasure.
    • Wine is taken outside at conclusion of ritual.

  • Thanking Deity:
    • Bile: Bile, Beloved God, I thank you for the protection you have granted me and for your blessing on this ritual tonight. Go if you must. Stay if you like. Hail and farewell.

    • Manannan: Manannan, Beloved God, I thank you for the protection you have granted me and for your blessing on this ritual tonight. Go if you must. Stay if you like. Hail and farewell.

    • Danu: Danu, Beloved Goddess, I thank you for the protection you have granted me and for your blessing on this ritual tonight. Go if you must. Stay if you like. Hail and farewell.
