| Welcome to " THE DOME " , " THE LOUD HOUSE", the arena where the Syracuse Orangemen dominate opponents. The Dome intimidates and fasinates all. When opposing schools play at Syracuse they have to battle with the Orangemen and the Dome's hostility and madness. The Carrier Dome has been the home court of the Syracuse Orangemen since 1980. Holding 32,000 it is the largest basketball arena in college basketball. The Dome has witnessed some great thrillers and the hardwood has been graced by some Syracuse great's like Pearl Washington, Dereck Colemen, John Wallace and Etan Thomas.
