In 1986, the newly launched club station LZ1KZM soon became popular. We seem to be very happy at that moment - the brand new TS830S was just unpacked.

A view into the roof of Gara Iskur. Important to note is the legendary Ground Plane of LZ1UF for 14, 21 and 28MHz in the background. The photo was shot by my 7 years old son LZ3UF in a sunny day somewhere in the early 80's.

The Bulgarian station SP/LZ1UF operates from Warsaw, July-September 1961. Next to me is my future wife Urszula SP5AHO, later LZ1FU. Working AM on 40m in a huge pile-up.

Then another picture of me, also from the good 60's. You can see my Marconi receiver, I still have it functional and even use it sometimes. It was actually recovered from a crashed bomber during the war.

An article photo in "Bulgaria" magazine, 04/11962. Russian text: A CONVERSATION WITH THE WORLD. Radelyn Gaydardjiev came to the radio club as a schoolboy in 1953. He was already carried away with the radio and he already decided to work in this field in his entire life.
