This page is dedicated to my Radio Amateur /Ham/ activity, which started back in the early 50's when I was a schoolboy. This was the wonderful time of the Radio Era, the glowing vacuum tubes, home-made equipment and my youth. It was however a difficult time. Amateur Radio was acting like a bridge between the two sides of The Wall, helping us realize that we were more similar than different. I am proud of being a Ham during the last 40+ years, because Radio Amateurs certainly contributed to the technical progress of the mankind and besides the technical side, Ham Radio also helped save many human lifes during disasters or emergency actions. Early Radio Amateurs played the same important role as all IT amateurs do today. At that time, Ham Radio was as young as PC was in the 80's, or as The Internet was at the edge between the Milleniums. What is coming next? Radelyn Gaydardjiev, LZ1UF
