Yahoo has issues. Every once in a while I get this error message while trying to access our homepage. It's annoying but there seems to be nothing I can do about it. There is no support for free sites, oh well :(

Hey Mom, Dad, Jane and anyone else, let me know if you want any links added to this site. If you want to make this your browser home page I can customize it by adding links in the "Quick Links" box I placed below the message board. Then you can check it out and jump to other sites you use a lot really easily. But since Yahoo often appears to not be able to find the page, it might not be a great idea after all.

I still haven't started making or fixing some pages, just using placeholders for now. And the Photo content won't be up for a while, so please hang in there. I'll get it done sometime after I move next week.

I did get the home loge to replace the blog logo, so Jane should like that. I think it looks better too. Good call sis!

Layout Almost Done
I put some content issues aside for now. Jane had some suggestions for layout changes and this should work better. I made a Javascript back button and put it on the page up with he menu items, which are all cyclical and working.

Still no ideas for a heading. I don't really have a purpose for it either, just to look cool. Maybe I'll try some faux ASCII art...?

A Pain in my Thumbnail
I've almost gotten a handle on this thumbnail display issue. It appears that Yahoo loses the link after a while. I check it when I post the picture, and it works when I make the page and preview it, but later it's not being displayed. If this doesn't work, later I'll try my plan to use the thumbs from Shutterfly and the link to Yahoo. It could possibly be an intermittent problem so that should solve it.

Calvin's tooth is much more prominent in this newer shot since he's actualy sitting still.

It's a lot of work learning how to make this site while I'm actually building it. Whenever I get stuck on something I believe it's a simple little fix but it takes me hours to find the solution. I use the internet a lot to find html answers and I think it's gotten much more crowded out there. It's difficult to find just what I want to know. Most sites that show up in the search aren't very helpful. They just want to sell you something and pop-up a bunch of ad windows while you're there. I hope I'm not being too down, but the net seems to be just a big advertisement sometimes.

This Blog was started to keep my friends and family updated on my family's experience of living in Taipei, Taiwan. Departure date is not yet set, but looks like it will be sometime next week.

This whole site is undergoing a renovation. The previous pages are still available, but not yet linked. I'll try to have a gallery page up this week.
