The Great Smoky Mountains

The Great Smoky Mountains is one of my favorite vacation spots. Ever since I was little, my family has driven up to the Great Smoky Mountains every summer and even stayed in the cabin homes up there! It's not a mountain-esque vacation if you stay in a hotel and hike up the mountains. Vacation, sure, but it's not the full experience. I feel so at peace in the mountains, and when I'm staring at a waterfall. It's God's handiwork, and to me that handiwork displays a message. A message that although the world may have turned evil what with all the sex, drugs, and rock and roll lifestyles, God's still here. God is still working and making the world beautiful. So the next time you're at the edge of a cliff staring at the overhang, or staring up at a great waterfall (assuming you're at the bottom of the waterfall..), thank God for all of His beautiful handiwork.

Lausanne, Switzerland

I fell in love with a desire to travel to Lausanne, Switzerland while looking up a Discipleship Training School to go on. (DTS recommended by my good friend, Esther.) I have since decided to wait on doing a DTS with the YWAM program, but I am still totally in love with the idea of travelling to Switzerland. [Here's the website address of the DTS I was looking at: http://www.ywamlausanne.com]

South America

Argentina: I have never been to Argentina, but I have a close friend who has. And she talks about it quite a bit--so much so that my curiousity is peaked. I'd love to experience the Argentinian culture for myself someday!

Costa Rica: Same story as above. Although, I have always been a tiny bit interested in visiting Costa Rica. You gotta love that they have the beach AND the mountains!!
