Participation Policy: All members are expected to post in their journal at least once a month, preferably more. Lack of participation for more than 4 weeks or failure to be able to contact you will result in your removal from the site due to inactivity.
Respectful Conduct: Members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectable manner in regards to the site, admin and other members. This means, but is not limited to, acting in a civil manner, not inciting fights and absolutely no flaming. This is especially important on the mailing list and during any chat sessions held.
Communications: Members are expected to respect other members' email addresses and TAoJ mailing list. Do not send spam, chain letters etc, to the mailing list and do not distribute members' email addresses or other potentially sensitive material without prior consent.
Contribution Authorization: As a member, you grant The Art of Journaling permanent permission to use any contributions you submit. This is necessary for online display of your material. As The Art of Journaling is a non-profit organization, your contributions will never be solid for profit and you will still retain copyright as the original creator.
Copyrighting: All submissions must be your own work. If we find that you have copyrighted anything, you will be removed from membership at this site.
Manager's Rights: I reserve the right to remove any member at my discretion and without prior warning. Infringement upon any of the above rules is grounds for removal. Rules are subject to change at my discretion and without prior warning but all members will be notified of a change or update to the rules if this occurs.
What you need to join
1. You must have an online journal that you post in regularly
2. You must place a link to us somewhere on your site before you join. You can either do a text link, or use one of our buttons.
3. No pornographic sites are allowed at all.
4. No locked journals!
