| Month Six 09/17 - 10/16/04 |
| Another wonderful month for the Bateman-Turner family! (soon to be just the Turner family) On 09/29/04, Mommy had an appointment with the doctor to get checked out once more before a really BIG event! Mommy and Daddy were flying to Jamaica to get married. Mommy had gained another 10 lbs, for a total of 30 lbs (yikes). Mommy's blood pressure was excellent at 112/80 and Baby's heart rate was approximately 160 bpm. The doctor gave Mommy the "all-clear" to fly and they packed their bags and off they went. Mommy and Daddy left for Jamaica on 10/02/04. They got married by the Justice of the Peace on Monday, 10/04/04. Present for the wedding were the following guests: Jen Turner - Matron of Honor Gary Turner, Jr. - Best Man Wanda Bateman - Mother of the Bride Harry Bateman, Jr. - Father of the Bride Bonnie Flickinger - Special Guest Audrey Turner - Mother of the Groom The weather was very hot, but everyone had a wonderful time and were very glad they were able to be there. | Mommy and Daddy came back from Jamaica on 10/09/04. They had so much fun in Jamaica, but really missed being home. Baby Girl had been pretty quiet while Mommy and Daddy were on their honeymoon, but once they got back, she started practicing her "Thai Chi" inside Mommy's belly. Mommy and Daddy were very happy to finally be husband and wife and were very excited about finally focusing on getting ready for Baby Girl! |
| On September 28th, Mommy had an appointment for another ultrasound to see if they could get a look at the parts of Baby Girl that they couldn't see at the last one... The ultrasound technician said that everything was perfect and that their Baby Girl was right on target as far as weight and size was concerned! |
