Other Facial Features: Lithe, attractive with a good sized, though proportional chest, narrow hips, and a almost youthful impish look to her, she has a light tan. She usually wears light tunics in grey or light blue with form fitting pants and tall boots. She�s got a belt knife with the Weyr crest in the pommel given to her as a gift when she graduated weyrling training, boot knife and a thigh/swimmer�s knife. She only has one ring she seems to ever really wear and it�s a silver knot.

Habits: plays with ring when bored, chews her lip when unsure or nervous, when very angry/frustrated she can swear quite well

Hobbies: singing and dancing, she also loves practicing various forms of fighting (something picked up from the docks), any exploring and flying with Ashenth and riding runners

Personality: She has a quick wit, dry sarcastic humor, and lots of spunk. She�s much the rogue and independent but also very dependable. She learned to take care of herself at a early age and now can take care of a small but still full Weyr with skill. A quick learner, she�s very good at reading people and a born leader. A bit tough at times to get to know she�s loyal to a fault and has a very big sense of honor and duty and usually thinks first for her dragon, then the Weyr, and herself last. Ironically enough though, she dislikes the idea of being the actual Weyrwoman.

Background: Born the bastard daughter of the second wife of the Lord Holder of Ista her mother rejected her but because she didn�t want her husband to know that Psyris wasn�t his she had Psyris raised with her other children, if always the one to receive punishment. Psyris went to the docks one day when she met her real father and he took her under his wing and taught her other skills such as fighting, fishing, sailing, riding runners, swimming, anything a son might know. Add in that most his crew saw to it to teach her a skill she soon became the whole crew�s daughter. When she was 16 her mother arranged for her to get married, not one to be made to do anything she refused and instead told her mother she was going with her real dad to become a ship captain. Livid her mother disowned her and refused ever to speak to her. Psyris�s father took her on board the ship and she was a part of the crew for a good turn when she changed to another ship. While at sea the captain got drunk and went off course and the ship went down in a storm but was rescued by a dragonrider from Lunan Weyr. Ironically enough, the poor girl was searched while the blue pulled her out the water. There she stood for a hatching but did not impress since she had plenty of skills she was named captain of a small boat meant for coastal waters that sailed along the coast. When the queen laid a gold egg in what would be her last clutch she decided to try again and once more stood on the sands but this time she found her golden Ashenth.

Physical description: A pale almost white gold color with darker talons, neck ridge, and leading edge of her wings that are a dark pure gold color and the shimmers with a faint shimmery gold dust look to her making her look like she glows. A dark gold trio of scars she got as a hatchling when she got in a fight with a green over Psyris, she's also a small gold about the size of the average to small bronzes. A fiery gold. She�s just like her rider to a fault. Always impish she�s as happy to play games with a green as she is with a bronze but when she gives an order it�s followed or she�ll raise all sorts of trouble for the offending pair. Very protective of her rider she�s possessive of her as well when it comes to other dragons. Don't let her size fool you though, she's quick and agile both of mind and body.
