Personality: She is a very happy and nice woman. Stress never gets to her. Even after her mother and brother died, she kept smiling. Ellaka is the person that anyone can go to if they have a problem or need help. She is very intelligent but doesn't flaunt it. She loves to laugh and tries to make those around her smile and laugh.

Background: She was raised by her dragonrider father and cook mother along with her brothers. Being the center child she sometimes tried to get attention, but was normally a good child. As a child the dragons showed a marked interest in her and it was believed that she would impress gold. She was finally allowed to stand once she turned twelve and impressed in her first standing. She and Manateeth are a lively pair and always seem to be in the center of everything. When the rockslide happened, she was in her weyr. Luckily it was on the opposite side from the accident so her weyr was unaffected. Unfrotunately her mother and younger brother weren't so lucky. She misses them terribly, but presses onward, keeping her outlook just as cheerful.
