My name is Sonia Miller and I have recently graduated from George Mason University with a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction, including a Virginia licensure in German and an ESOL add-on. Further I am currently finishing my thesis for my MA in Children's Literature from Hollins University.

In December I accepted a position at Lawrence Family Development Charter School as the K-8 ESOL teacher. As with all jobs there's a bit of a period of adjustment, but so far I'm loving it here. The teachers are enthusiastic and very helpful and the kids are a blast.
