The "Passive Air Injection" (Pair Valve) is used as a pollution
control device. Its purpose is to inject fresh air into
the exhaust system to
cause the burning of unused fuel before it leaves the exhaust pipes. Removing the pair valve
will have no affect on your gas mileage, power or any other part of the machine.
