The Masai Mara Nature Reserve is one of the best places on Earth to watch big cats in the wild. This is one of the reasons why since 1996 the BBC Natural History Unit has been filming the series 'Big Cat Diary' (BCD) here. In September 2002 I was working with Viewfinders Ltd. in Nairobi – the company that assisted the BBC with logistics while in Kenya.
