The Legend of Dekar

Chapter 3:

I can’t think of a title

Dekar looked up at the sky from the boat they were on. The trip to get Artea had been uneventful, except that the elven village was pretty damn hard to find. The femmy lil elf boy was currently over the water as if he was about to throw his guts out.
         “I am not a sea-elf,” he complained.
Dekar ignored him. He was excited. Suddenly he jumped up and screamed “NOW IS THE BEGINNING OF A NEW ADVENTURE! WE WILL MAKE A JOURNEY TO THE CAVE OF MONSTERS! GOOD LUCK!”
The entire crew stared at him silently for awhile before he calmed down and sat again. Truth be told he didn’t know WHERE they would go. Wherever their feet took them he supposed….

A few months later the group sat in a bar. They’d just conquered another cave of monsters and aquired another kingdom’s long lost treasure. It was starting to lose it’s luster really…. He time to move on was neigh.
Dekar’s thoughts were interrupted as a lithe woman sauntered up to his stool and sat in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck.
“Hey there handsome. You sure are strong,” She began.
Not even seeming to notice her presence in his lap he just flexed his arm. “Ya, I guess I am, huh?”
The woman smiled. “Why don’t we go on up to my room and see how strong you really are, huh?”
Dekar blinked. “Huh? You got weights in there or something?”
Just then Guy walked up, grinning like a maniac. “Hey, I’m just as strong as that guy, and I got a little more up here, if ya know what I mean baby,” Guy tapped his head as he spoke.
The woman gave him a disgusted look as she turned back to Dekar. “Naďve, huh? Ooohh, I like ‘em that way.”
         Dekar just blinked again. “Wha?”
Just then Artea fell from his stool after trying to fly. He climbed ontop of the table and began to dance, although it was more of a drunken shamble, quickly cheered on by the occupants. Dekar and Guy pretended not to know him until the crowd got him to start trying to shove one of his arrows up an unpleasant place. They managed to get him out before he could permenantly harm himself however.
“Dekar… remind me never to let that guy drink unsupervised again…” Guy lamented.
         “You got it.”
