Floating House:
Ok first you will need to buy a bunch of pillars and put them on the first level. Go to the second story, and build all of the structure. It is important that you get all of the structure put in at this time, Walls floors,ex. DON'T forget to put in all of the stairs so your sims can get upstairs. Go back to the first floor, and then delete all of the pillars.Then the house will remain staning in the air.

Babys:
When you get the suprise of a peson calling you to adopt a baby, you must take some time to think. Do you want to stay home from work and possibly loose your job? If you decide to do this, then you must have someone stay home. You will have to stay up during the night.
To give your baby the best chance it has to grow up into a loving child you must be able to do 3 things.

• Feed-Give your baby food.
• Sing- To your baby.
• Play-With your baby.
  I would go and feed the baby first, then have your baby sung to, then play with your baby more then once, and then you need to sing to your baby to put him/her to sleep. If you think this is the only thing you need to do, dream on. YOU NEED TO DO THIS AT LEAST 3 TIMES A DAY.
  • Once at dinner time or around it.
  • Once in the middle of the night.
  • Once in the middle of the day.
  First you need to decide who is going to stay home. I usually have the one with lesser pay stay home first, becuase they will have to stay home twice. So now you have the Sim staying home to take care of the baby, you will need plenty of sleep and nutriment. So relax, eat, shower, bath, watch tv, sleep,ex.
  
  Good Living:
  When your Sims start their life out you only get 20,000 to use. So you may want to buy the cheapest lot that there is (Lot 1 or2). Then you need to check your finances, you will probbaby have something that is like 13,000 dollars to start building.

  Make four rooms, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. You do this by placing walls down and floors. When you finish placing the walls you will have to place your doors and windows. When you get done placing in the windows and doors, you need to furnish your home, use the least expensive items. Here is a list of things you need to have.
  -Kitchen

  • Table and Chairs
  • Refrigerator
  • Counters
  • Trash Can
  • Microwave, or cheap stove
  • Sink
  • Fire Detector

  -Living Room

  • Couch
  • T.V.
  • Bookshelf (to study)

  -Bedroom

  • Bed
  • Maybe an alarm clock

  -Bathroom

  • Toilet
  • Bath Tub or Shower
  • Sink

  Ok so your sims just got a house. Let them look at it. But their always comes a time when they will need to go to work. So they will need to get a job to start the money comin' in.

  Their are many jobs to get. Pick one of those jobs, by looking for a job on the computer or the newspaper, then you will be on your way to a good future.

  Now you are making around $120-$250 for beginning pay and you will have to work hard to get promotions. To do these things you will have to go to the Job Screen and fin out what you need to do to get promotions. Do those things to get promoted.

  Now you are making $300-$500 a day you will be able to get a maid.Make sure you have enough money to pay her or she will not come back to your families house for a long time.

  Now your probably wanting new stuff so just sell all your old stuff and replace it with the newer stuff.

  Once you get around $2500 saved up you will be able to make an addition to your house, like a study room, or a fun area.

  
  Free Food: If you are so low on money that you need money, or you need food, tell you sims to go to the frige. Then tell your Sim to get a snack. Before they buy the snack tell it to cancel. Your Sim should put the snack down and then you wont have to pay $5 eather. You can sell it for $15 if you have Move_Objects On cheat on.
