PondsMay 23: FishPond has been running for a month now and is doing extremely well. FrogPond has not been dry in the same period. May 05: Everything is running really smooth with the ponds. Thinking about slowing the drip on the Frog Pond even more. Starting to experiment with plants in the Fish Pond. April 22: Already making repairs, but the pond is alive. April 18: The hole has been dug, the barrel/liners have been laid and filled, and the stone edging is in place. There is even a homemade frog-spitter sitting in the middle, happily coughing up water. It is down to fine tuning, planting and stocking, but the hard part is accomplished - convincing my loving wife. So far she has been more receptive to the idea than I could have reasonably expected, almost (dare I say it?) enthused.
