Captains Log 6
Star Date 06280.3
We have a new crewmember. One T'kee Ashwia. She comes to us as our new Communications Officer, and has a good service record as far as I can tell. I've sent her directly to the away team to help with the communications problems they are having. I feel a bit bad about not even letting her drop her things in her new cabin, but time was of the essence as I don't know when the team will be ready to take another beam down, or even if they would be able to if they ran into problems.
As of the close of communications, the away team was on time and track to arrive at the locations of the erstwhile Mr. Brundle. Kudos to Lee for an excellent job on managing the team! I still can't figure out why the admiral was so upset with him, but perhaps the lack of commitment that he showed to my daughter runs deep in his nature and has colored his command style. Maybe that is why this ship is crewed by people that seem more like they are on a vacation liner rather than a military vessel.
On a sadder note one of his assistance Mister Cosmos also was returned to the ship. His medical problems have gotten worse and from the report from the EMH it seems he is now crippled as well as blind. I will go and visit him in the sickbay as soon as this watch is over and bring him a nice box of rats to cheer him up.
I asked that Mr. Tempres be returned to the ship chiefly to help with the wormhole. But I also want him to help me figure out what that cloaked ship shadowing us was, or I should say is. I think it is back, but holding at a great distance considering the slight movements of the wormhole.
I also got a very disturbing letter from my daughter, and have sent a letter back to my cousin to find out if what she said was true. If it is, I will consider neutering him with a dull broken claw!
