| SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT DEADLINES |
| 1. Idea for a project Due: Friday, December 14, 2007 2. Research Paper (guidelines page) (paper should be typed & double spaced and at least 2 pages long) Due: Wednesday, January 9, 2008 Materials and Procedures Due: Friday, January 11, 2008 Materials listed (like ingredients) and procedures clear enough for someone to repeat your experiment 6. Experimentation begins no later than : January 11, 2008 (your experiment should end by February 8th) Data Log Check #1: Due: Friday, January 25, 2008 Data Log Check #2: Due: Friday, February 1, 2008 7. Results & Conclusion Due: Wednesday, February 14, 2008 (t-chart or graph for results and 7 paragraph conclusion) 8. Abstract (no more than 1 paragraph) Due: Tuesday, February 19, 2008 9. Project Board Due: March 3-5th, 2008 (notice the date change here!!) Science fair projects will be part each student's grade for the second and third quarters. These deadlines and due dates are extremely important for students to follow. The science fair will be held the first week of March in the gym. We will set up the projects on Monday and the judging will take place Monday evening. Anyone can come from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday to see all of the projects. The Awards ceremony will be from 4:45 until 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. All projects need to be taken down after the Award Ceremony. County Science Fair contestants will be announced at the Awards Ceremony |
