| In 2003, San Diego State University officially began their interest group for Lambda Theta Alpha, Latin Sorority Incorporated. Through many struggles and triumphs the interest group remained intact. Each and every interest was making sure to stay together until the chapter was established. As a result of their commitment to the interest group, the Gamma Psi Chapter was established in Spring 2005 by fourteen lovely ladies: 1. Lucy Reyes 8. Rosa Hernandez 2. Christina Ramirez 9. Reina Gerena 3. Gabriela McEachern 10. Andrea Corella 4. Daisy Navejar 11. Johanna de la O 5. Viviana Medina 12. Katie Metzler 6. Isabel Calderon 13. Michele Becerra 7. Viridiana Carreon 14. Cecila Rodriguez The lovely lambda ladies maintained the chapter strong and on its two feet. The fourteen ladies made a positive impact on San Diego State University with its community involvement in such events like the Aids Walk, after school programs such as the Six to Six, beach clean-ups, etc. In Spring 2006, four strong ladies were added to "The Glorious Victorius Gamma Psi Chapter"; Line One: 1. Erika Fragoso 2. Maritza Pantoja 3. Jessica Gonzalez 4. Marisela Pena These four women kept the chapter going on the road to success. They have also been a great asset to the chapter with their open minds for trying new things. In Spring 2007, five dedicated ladies became part of "The Glorious Victorious Gamma Psi Chapter"; Line Two: 1. Luz Salcedo 2. Sarah Perrin 3. Sharla Ford 4. Melissa Alfaro 5. Mayra Herrera Our chapter continues its principles of Unity, Love and Respect. We continue our legend to strive for the best and focus on our academics, community involvement and the empowerment of the universal woman. |
