Q. What do you require in the way of ID to accept
credit card orders?
A. OK, if you are a
new customer, we simply need to confirm that you are the
actual owner of the credit card! Ideally, we need a scan of
both sides of your card and scan of drivers
license (or copy of passport) in JPG format. Our
email address is support.
WARNING! All credit card orders will be
verified by phone.
Q. What happens if I buy e-currency with my credit
card but do not confirm personal
information?
A. If
you do not confirm personal data, money will be transferred to
your account in a three month after payment unless chargeback
occurs.
Q. Are there any limitations on buying e-currency
with credit card if I'm a verified
customer?
A. You
should pass reID in case your charged amount is twice as large
as max. amount you have ever charged in E-gold Exchange
Service.
Q. Isn't this ID confirmation a bit
much?
A. Unfortunately, yes. We are in
business to make money, not to be scammed by crooks &
thieves.
Q. What is your minimum order to buy
e-currency?
A. We accept purchases
for as little as $30 worth of gold.
Q. What is your minimum order to exchange
e-currency?
A. There are no limits
when exchanging e-currency.
Q. What are the fees
involved?
A. We charge from 2% to 3% on
credit card orders, depending on the amount of charge. On
direct bank deposits we charge 5%. On e-currency
exchange we charge 3%.
Q. Do you work 24 hours a day, 7 days per
week?
A. No, we're just like you! We like
to have a life! We process orders to coincide with the US
banking system, meaning that we (try to) take the weekends
off! So, if you place an order on a Friday, it may not get
processed until Monday... which means that if you are a new
customer, it will take up until Wednesday (48 hours) to credit
your account.
Q. What do you do in the advent of a unhappy
customer?
A. Try to fix the
problem!
