There were 6 participants of the meeting. They are KESAN (FP Burma), SANTISENA (FP Cambodia), VILLAGE FOCUS (FP Laos), METSA FOUNDATION (FP Philippines), ACED (FP Thailand), CTSAE (FP Vietnam).

The fourth meeting discussed about the development of the last third meeting, the condition of biodiversity in participants countries, Organizational mechanism in the Working Group and next meeting of V Meeting Group.

tdh supporting Working Group in Advocacy toward Children and Woman, delivered a material as input for members of the participant of the Working Group to discuss more about the issue of biodiversity which not only consist of flora and fauna but also the people and their social lives.

The meeting recorded that the decrease of the biodiversity quality happens not only by environment damage, modification of plant genetic but also the pattern of development avoiding the participatory of the society and regarded provide more bad impact on the society. It was clear on the biodiversity presentation that at the moment the society of participants countries are only the receiver of the bad impact.

The case of disturbing of pattern life of the people living surround Mae Khong River in Thailand, Renun River and Bahorok in Indonesia and also the concept of the development marginalizing the local people in Burma and Laos and more even the takeover of the copyright of the certain plants in Philippines and Thailand are proofs that there was no participatory of the people in the development process.

Regarding the facts, Working Group agreed to empower the society through information, training and building good networking among the NGOs, society groups and among the groups in the society.

The realization of the follow up was put on Action Plan that would be executed within each country of the participants of the Working Group. And, in East Asia Regional level there are some activities planned:
