| Clifford's Tower, York | ||
| Oil on canvas, 1953 | ||
| Lowry originally painted this castle as part of 'The Evelyn Award' in the 1950's. |

| Street Scene | ||
| 1935, Oil on Canvas | ||
| To the right is Lowry's original painting 'Street Scene', complete with working class people, terraced houses and industrial chimneys billowing with smoke. Also evident is Lowry's use of one point perspective, making it seem as though the buildings become smaller as they go farther into the background. | ||
| On the right is my coloured pencil representation of Lowry's original. I kept to the original palette of five colours - red, yellow, black blue and white - to try to maintain authenticity. For the chimney smoke, I used a white coloured pencil to 'smudge' the colours already on the paper, but it does not have the same effect as Lowry using his finger to smudge paint. | ||

| Ordsall Lane Dwellings | ||
| In this ballpoint pen drawing of one of Lowry's Ordsall Lane sketches, I have tried to get the one-point perspective right. The shading on the near building I added to represent its shape. | ||

Anglesey Bridge, North Wales |

Not a Lowry piece at all, but a piece done in my style, but influenced
by Lowry in the colours used (limited palette of red, blue, yellow,
white, black) and the one point perspective used.
