Introduction

Welcome to the Loving Arms Pitbull Rescue and Referral website. After years of quietly taking in a dog here and there we have decided to "go public" to help as many dogs as possible.

Pit bull is a term used in reference to primarily two breeds of dog; The American Pit Bull Terrier, The Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and a third, the combination of two or more of the above. The Pitbull is the most unfairly discriminated against dog in history. Due to a rash of bad publicity coupled with irresponsible ownership, the Pitbull is facing a shaky future. Only through education and the dedication of Pit lovers everywhere can we hope to save this most loving, loyal and courageous breed.

All dogs will be tempermant tested, spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, and started in crate and obedience training. We provide a full range of supportive services for our adoptive families including lifetime support, information, and training tips.
