setting fire to holders of candle in candle light procession and
blowing out forigners candles!! quite amusing
pushing my lady in a wheelchair as fast as humanly possible, and not looking out for hidden grates and ditches , also the fun game of seeing how many peoples ankles you can bruise with a wheelchair (its ok we were in lourdes they would heal quickly)

All of the Special people I have met in Lourdes
have now been to Lourdes 21 times and every year I'm always
in awe of its power, the commitment if the people who go there, the generosity of the people who go there and the sheer power of prayer

I have to agree with Phil.  The people I met just blew me away. It was a privilege to be amongst them.  I'm loving people I barely know!
Quite enjoyed the United Kingdom song contest in Alberts too where we, representing England, tried to outsing the Irish and the Scottish.  (...yes I know Eire is not part of the UK but you get the gist).  Thankfully the Welsh went unrepresented - with all that 'singing in the valley' business they would have kicked our proverbial butt.

I went to Lourdes for the first time in 2000 with Notre Dame
Sixth Form Collage and have since been back 3 times because I love it so much.
I'm currently a student at Liverpool University - training to be  primary school teacher.

The game where we had to try and hit people in the ankles with
the wheelchair, extra points were given if they were wearing shorts or cropped trousers! Also our crazy pilgrim who was fearless and made us run her around like she was on a rollercoaster! At one point she went over a grate and nearly flew home, luckily there was a priest there to save her life!
The foreign people on the night time vigil were humorous too! they had to be barged out of the way!

Well there's the time we managed to flood our whole floor at the
Alliance (oops). Oh, and that rock version of shine jesus shine needs to be
repeated!
Anyone remember Barnaby and the Formedable (how do you spell that?)? There were some excellent pictures taken of that cuddly toy in various positions with the beer glass.
Impression of lourdes: always different, always enlightening, always fulfilling and (possibly more importantly) always a lot of fun!
