Joined the Belfast Lough Sea & Shore Environmental/Arts Project for a fourth time this year.

The pupils took fieldtrips around Belfast Lough to study environmental issues.  Four artists visited - the Poet Adrian Rice, Artists Phil O'Hanlon & Helen Crossey and Drama teacher/director Molly Freeman to inspire and educate the children using their medium to create poetry, art and drama based on the Belfast Lough.  The class wrote plays then three short playlets were chosen to be performed by Lauren Blair, Robyn Cupples, Glen Graham, Jack Harbinson, Rhianna Martin & Ryan Walker at Ballyearl Theatre, Newtownabbey.
'Lough Views: A Children's Anthology of Poetry, Art and Drama' will be published in Sept.2003 - it will include 2 full colour art pieces from a boy and girl, 4 of the best poems by 2 girls and 2 boys and a drama script from Whitehouse PS.
