Sorry that it has been a long time coming, but things have progressed slowly here at Rebak Marina.
Last November Ines and I decided to buy a mono hull ketch.
The new boat is called Mythra and she is 23 yeaqrs old, made of steel and built in Holland by a company called Suncoast.
The boat has sailed many miles and came to us in a v ery run down and tired condition.
We started work on the boat in January 2004 and we have as yet only just started what will be a long and extensive refit.
The name Mythra comes from Indo Iranian mythology and Mythra was the God of sun, or the God of creation or generation. Not so much the Sun God as the very essence of the sun.
Lotus Mantra was finally sold on March 21 2004. and on that day we moved onto Myhtra. We are living in the forward part of the boat and the rear part in nothing more than a workshop at this time. Things can only get better!
