The Senior Sports & Fitness Program also provides opportunities to learn safe, effective and fun ways to exercise. The ultimate goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle and help maintain independence in the later years of life. Through physical fitness the older adult improves his/her emotional, mental and spiritual health while establishing a functional fitness level that allows him/her to lead an independent life.
