Congratulations Dr. Walter Birdsall, Jr.
Dr. Walter Birdall, Jr. has been recognized by New Orleans Magazine and Best Doctors, Inc., as one of the Top Doctors in the New Orleans area for 2006. As reported in the New Orleans Magazine August 2006 edition, Best Doctors, Inc., a Boston-based company, gathers professional peer ratings on an ongoing basis. These peer ratings are conducted nation wide with, Best Doctors, Inc., interviewing over 30,000 physicians from January through May of each year. Physicians cannot nominate themselves for this distinction, but once they are interviewed, they can nominate other physicians who also must undergo the comprehensive review. Only 14 Family Medicine Physicians were recognized this year. Of those recognized, Dr. Birdsall was the only one in the Bayou Region to receive this honorable distinction. We are very lucky to have Dr. Walter to take care of us.
Mr. Wilton Ordoyne
Recently, Mr. Ordoyne stopped to give assistance to a person whose car broke down on Highway 657. The person he helped was Rose Guidry. Ms. Guidry wrote to the local paper, Lafourche Gazette, to publically thank the good samartians. We are proud that that Mr. Ordoyne is acknowledged for the good he does for others out side of the Lady of the Sea Medical Clinic. He helps many people get their medicines free or almost free. He is our Spotlight for the month of May. Congratulations Mr. Ordoyne.
