Oh, Well...

What can I say. I had never seriously thought of a personal web page until a few weeks ago. Then a number of things all happened at the same time.
I finally completed scanning some photos of my travels and I happily started looking at them, picking some for my desktop and sending others to friends and relatives (ehm, no, they hadn't all begged me to send them, I must admit...); I also finished updating my curriculum vitae -my resume- and happily started doing what people normally do with it.
Then, all of a sudden, I saw this book about creating web pages. It lay open, right in my hands: an obvious sign that I just could not ignore.
Thus forced by destiny to face this endeavour, I discovered that putting together even a simple, small web page such as this one is a very enjoyable and instructive experience -that is, I am having a lot of fun with it!

So, this is what you are going to find here: whatever reason brought you to this page, thank you for visiting. And feel free to leave a message or a comment in the guestbook.

Curriculum Vitae

I am a project manager in the aerospace industry, with a nice university background and a good international experience.
In any case, do not worry: I am not going to bore you to death with my astonishing professional skills, nor am I willing to show you my CV at all costs: I actually hid it in a separate page.
Of course, if you happen to be looking for a brilliant project manager, why not give it a look:

Travels

I love traveling... hmm, well -not too original a statement to start with. I did manage, however, to visit some wonderful places, and I had the idea (not too original, again) to post about them on the web.

I took these photos with an old manual Minolta SLR camera; I am by no means a 'real' photographer, but I may put up a list of the equipment someday.

Peru
From Lima to La Paz: Los Andes, El Condor, Machu Picchu, la Fiesta del Sol.                    (Page 1, 2, 3, 4)
Mali
My first journey to the Sahara. You probably know where Timbouctou is... but Taoudenni? (Page 1, 2, 3, 4)

By the way, there is a copyright on these pictures: I am actually happy if you want downoad them for your personal use, and even more if you mention where you found them. If -unlikely as it may be- you are pllanning to make money with them, then you definitely need to contact me.

All pictures have been scanned at 600 dpi and resized to (roughly) 1024 x 768 pixels.
