The last promised Land on June 30th was a great sucess again. keep checking here for more news and updates. As I am leaving Exeter I will no longer be involved in the running of the promised land but I hope that the group will get on fine without me and I will still be doing the website. Thanx to all those who have supported me!
A new event is taking place
at R.C.C (Okehampton street Exeter.) Called the Promised Land see the Logo!!!
It happens the last Saturday of the month which means that yes you have just
missed one! The event is basically a club

And the space is excellent as the building used to be a nightclub but I
don't want to give too much away!!! These are our objectives. The
aim of the evening is really threefold: To allow Christians to get
together and talk . Proverbs 27:17 tells us this, "As iron sharpens iron,
a friend sharpens a friend." To worship the Lord.
Jesus instructs us in Luke 10:27, "You must love the Lord your God with all
your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind." Also to have fun and bring
friends along to a place with an atmosphere that that is non threatening and
comfortable where they can see that faith can be relevant in Culture and
people in church do have a sense of fun!
