| Kevin, Alicia, and Bethany Montgomery are another family in the Montana Vista team. Kevin and Alicia met in 1992 while in the Adventures In Missions (AIM) program at Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas. Through this program they worked as apprentice missionaries with two other AIM students in the city of Chemnitz, Germany. After returning from the mission field they married in 1995 and began their preparations to return to the mission field by going to college. Alicia graduated from Texas Tech University summa cum laude with a double major in Spanish and English in 2000. Kevin completed a Bachelor's degree in Spanish in 1999 and a Master's in Greek and Latin in 2001. After finishing their studies at Texas Tech they spent a summer working as interns with a newly planted church in Guadalajara, Mexico. After returning they attended Sunset International Bible Institute to learn more about God's word and how best to spread the gospel. During this time Kevin worked as the Associate Minister at the Main Street church of Christ in Lockney, Texas. While serving at Lockney and learning at Sunset God blessed them with a lovely baby girl in May 2003. They arrived in El Paso in August of 2003. Current Newsletter: |
