Sweet Hollow Road and Mount Misery
These stories were either sent to us, told to us or collected from multiple online sources.
The Lady in White
It is believed her name is "Mary."  Some say that she was a young girl killed on the road in the mid 1920s by a jealous Boyfriend.  He believed she was cheating on him and while driving down the road he pushed her out of the moving car.  Her injured body layed in the street until she died.  Another story claims that she was a witch hung on the road in the late 1600s.  The final story says that she was walking home along the road and was struck by a passing car.  Yet another story says that she was a patient that died in the hospital on Mount Misery.
Today, people claim to have seen a woman in white walking along the side of the road.  Witnesses believe it to be the spirit of Mary.  Some believe she is an angry spirit and will sometimes jump in front of moving cars.  It is also claimed that Mary's Grave can be found in the cemetary on the road.

The Boys
There are multiple twists on this story.  2 or 3 boys were supposedly killed by the Overpass on the road.  In one story it is said that the boys were under the overpass when they were struck and killed by an oncoming car which they were not aware of.  Another story says that the boys comitted suicide by hanging themselves from the overpass.  It is said that drivers should either honk their horn or flash their lights before going under the overpass at night to warn them there's a car coming or the boys will jump out in front of the car.
The Cop
While driving Sweet Hollow Road some people were pulled over by an old fashion police car and approached by an officer in an old police uniform.  Other than the car and the uniform he seems normal.  When he turns around there is blood on his shoulders and the back of his head has a hole in it.  He is believed to be an officer from the area who was killed in the line of duty.
Fingerprints
Some people have witnessed strange fingerprints on their car after driving the road.  No one really knows what causes it but there are a few theories.  One is that the boys from under the overpass are trying to push the car away from their bridge.
The Boy in Stripes
Some people have witnessed a young boy by the overpass.  He has Brown hair, is wearing a green striped shirt with jeans and red sneakers.  He seems to be floating.  His eyes glow and he has a demonic smile.
Mount Misery
Named "Misery" because of the terrain.  Horse and buggies had a difficult time travelling the road making it hard to receive supplies and so on.
Supposedly, in the 1840s there was a hospital there that burnt down.  The Hospital was rebuilt 15 years later.  Reports of spirits and voices were reported throughout the hospital.  5 months after construction the hospital burnt down from mysterious causes.
The area is now a state park but Burning ghosts are reported to be seen in the surrounding woods.
