| It is basic to this mission that Toastmasters International continually expand its worldwide network of clubs, thereby offering ever-greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from its programs. |
What is Toastmasters? |
| Toastmasters International is a national organization dedicated to the development and improvement of its members' public speaking skills. Members present both prepared and impromptu speeches at monthly club meetings. Fellow club members, who offer constructive criticism, evaluate each speech. |
| Toastmasters also develop leadership skills and teach proper meeting procedures. Communication skills learned in Toastmasters can help you anywhere -- on the job, at school, or in other social situations. Visit the Toastmasters International website for more information on the Toastmasters organization and its benefits and goals. |
